Steel structure construction started

The shell and core of the addition of the World CCB have been completed in total 70%. The concrete floor of the ninth floor of the Hotel has been poured. The construction of the steel structure is running full force. The steel girders (almost 45m in length and 65t in weight) are currently being mounted in three segments across the great conference hall using a 400t truck-mounted crane.

Preparation for the assembly of the „crystal” steel construction have concluded. The necessary assembly substructure is in place, so that the actual construction of the steel structure can begin at the beginning of May using a 500t truck-mounted crane.

The first facade elements in the area of Heussallee are also being installed at the beginning of May.
